Industrial agriculture is great for farmers, and supermarkets that sell crops. The industialization of farming is simply put though. It does not make the food better for human, it could actually make it worse. I will go into more detail on that later, but the main advantage to industrializing is that it make growing crops and feeding animals much easier and much quicker. In the past there might even have been a year when there were no good crop, and only skiny cows and pigs, but no longer. With the Industrial revolution of farming people will see that growing lots of crops every year will become easy. Also cows and other livestock will become even easier to breed for feeding. Even though this version of farming has the ability to kick out large amounts of profits is it really better for your health?
The first reason is because of aminal rights activists. If people are able to have more animals, are they still probally able to have enough space for all of them. The answer is probally not, and that will raise many issues with activist.
Another reason that industrialized farming is not that good is because of all the fertilizers that are being put onto fruits and vegtable nowadays. Is rinsing your fruit enough to clear them all away. I highly dought it so with this new type of farming people could be ingesting all sorts of harmfull chemicals.
Those are just a few reasons why people should be carefull with industrialized farming.

Soy not "Soy" Good afterall
In the past people have believed that soy was an extremely healthy product, and also a great substitue for protein. Even though soy is a great replacement for protein, it may not be the health solution that the American public is looking for. Recent studies have shown that soy may possibly cause a few problems. Some tests were run and now scientists are questioning where soy is behind breats cancer in women. Soy could also be the culpret when it comes to some lack of brain function in males. Soy may also be linked to developmental abnormalities in some infants. Soy beans seem to be good for people in some aspects, but they also seem to be extremely awful in other aspects. To get to the bottom of this situation one needs to look at whos making the point on both sides and who would gain the most if soy is proved good or bad. There is a problem here though. When one looks at either side there are stong financial incentives on both sides of the argument, therefore one cannot decide which would gain more from proving a side of soy.
when i look at this situation I come to an easy desicion. Now this is completely my opinion and you may utterly disagree with me, but if there is any chance of me contracting brain damage or even breast cancer, no matter how slim the chances are for guys, i would avoid soy. Yes it is a great substitube for meats, and its also remarkable how it will change flavor depending on what you cook it with, but im not going to risk my life just so that i can save a few animals. Like when driving are you going to swerve infront of a semi to avoid hitting a small animal, or will you just take your chances with the animal. I know what i would do and i hope you agree with me when i say: STAY AWAY FROM SOOYYY AND TOFU!

Peer Mediation is the Way to Go
When we were in elementary school we were intro duced to the peer mediation system. This was a conflict resolution system that was ideal for people our age, but i still think it can be very effective. The steps are as follow you first try to work out the problem with the other person. You both stop, tell how you feel, think of solutions then compromise. Its fool proof. You both point out your side of the story, but if you can not agree on a specific solution you then have to take it to your peers. Now since the one on one did not work you then basically take it to a court, but the judge and jury are your friends and classmates. You repeate the steps again, but now with the helps of your peers you try to come up with more compromises. It usually has very good results. The reason i think that this conflict resolution system is so effective is that itinvolves peers. You have all heard of peer presure and how hard it is to ignore it. This is peer presure put to good work. When an adult tells you to do such things as drink alcohol its just wierd, but if your friend did you would most likely do it because of peer presure. Now if your friend tells you to stop hurting your other friend, again you will most likely listen because of peer presure. So as long as you have friends with good morals this is the best conflict resolution system on the market.

Let's Make G.R.E.A.T. Decisions
In class we all learned about the G. R. E. A. T. Decision making process. Well obviously that is not the only one, there are many others like the PLUS system and the S. W. O. T. system. Obviously everyone already knows the G. R. E. A. T. process so i wont't go into detail, nut the PLUS system is made up of 6 steps, they are: Step 1: Define the problem PLUS Step 2: Identify alternatives Step 3: Evaluate the alternatives PLUS Step 4: Make the decision Step 5: Implement the decision Step 6: Evaluate the decision PLUS. The S. W. O. T. system is a slightly diffrent and shorter process. A person would need to look into the stregnths of what they decide, the weakness of their decision, the opputunities it would bring, and also the threats is shows. All three of these systems are very good for making decisions, but which of them is the best.
When you are about to use any of these systems the first step is always the same, it's basically universal. One needs to identify the problem before they can decide anything. Then when using the G. R. E. A. T. or PLUS system you need to basically fork through all the results. When using the S. W. O. T. system that is also the next step, but it is also the only step, the only thing i think that system lets you do is investigate consequences. The nice thing about using the first too approaches is that in the case that you made the wrong decision you will go back and review, this will hopefully help you learn a lesson, unlike the S. W. O. T. which only lets you decide. I think that the G. R. E. A. T. and PLUS are the better two systems to use, but its your choice.
